フレアとは、安全かつ分散されたスマートコントラクト・ネットワークの構築を行い、Ripple（XRP）、Litecoin（LTC）、Stellar（XLM）などを対象としてスマートコントラクトの実装を目指すプロジェクトです。FLRは、Flare Networks上の取引手数料の支払い、ステーキング、エコシステムの方針を決定するためのガバナンス投票に使用することができます。
