The MergeおよびETHWとは
The Mergeとは、イーサリアムで予定されている次期大型アップグレードです。イーサリアムはThe MergeによりProof of Work（PoW）によるマイニングを停止し、Proof of Stake（PoS）へと移行します。
2022年8月現在、The Mergeのアップグレードが適用されていないチェーンが分岐することで、新たにETHWが発生する可能性が示唆されております。
当社の対応方針
当社では、イーサリアムのアップグレードThe Mergeに対応いたします。
また、新たに誕生することが示唆されているETHWの取扱および付与方針については、以下の通りです。
- 現時点でのETHWの取扱につきましては、未定となっております。
- 当社でETHWの取扱を開始するためには、当社によるリスク評価や日本暗号資産取引業協会（JVCEA）の規則に沿った手続きが必要となります。
- 当社は、ETHWの発生時点におけるお客様資産のスナップショットを取得いたします。
- ETHWの取扱を行わない場合、ETHWの付与は行いません。
- チェーンの分岐により取得したETHWは、コールドウォレットにて厳重に管理いたします。
- 対応方針に変更がある場合は、改めてお知らせいたします。

Our policy for listing and distribution of ETHW is as follows.
- At this time, the listing of ETHW has not yet been determined.
- In order for us to start listing ETHW, our risk assessment and the procedures in accordance with the rules of the Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association (JVCEA) will be required.
- We will take a snapshot of our customers' assets at the time of ETHW creation.
- ETHW will not be distributed if we decide not to list it.
- ETHW acquired through the chain fork will be strictly managed in a cold wallet.
- If there is any change to our policy, we will notify you.
