ビットバンクでは2023年6月1日に施行される「犯罪による収益の移転防止に関する法律」の改正を受け、2023年6月1日よりトラベルルールに基づく情報の通知を開始します。
トラベルルールに基づく情報の通知については、お客様が法令等で定められた国・地域に所在する暗号資産交換業者に対し暗号資産を直接送付する際にビットバンクが送付先の暗号資産交換業者に情報の通知を行うものでありお客様が追加で対応いただく必要はございません。
なお、ビットバンクでは以前ご案内させていただいた「暗号資産の直接送付ができない暗号資産交換業者」に対し2023年6月9日以降、暗号資産の直接送付ができなくなります。

トラベルルールとは？
トラベルルールとは、「利用者の依頼を受けて暗号資産の出金を行う暗号資産交換業者は、出金依頼人と受取人に関する一定の事項を、出金先となる受取人側の暗号資産交換業者に通知しなければならない」というルールです。
このルールは、FATF(金融活動作業部会)が、マネーロンダリング及びテロ資金供与対策についての国際基準（FATF基準）において、各国の規制当局に対して導入を求めているものです。
トラベルルールの目的は？
テロリストその他の犯罪者が自由に電子的な資金移転システムを利用することを防ぎ、不正利用があった場合にその追跡を可能とすることを目的とするものです。

In response to the revision of the "Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds" which will be enforced on June 1, 2023, bitbank will start to provide information based on the travel rule on June 1, 2023.
The travel rule-based information will be provided by bitbank to the destination crypto assets exchanges when users send crypto assets directly to crypto assets exchanges located in countries/regions specified by law.
bitbank will no longer be able to send crypto assets directly to those crypto assets exchanges listed in the "List of exchanges which no longer be able to send crypto assets directly" after June 9, 2023.

What is the Travel Rule?
The travel rule is the guideline that "crypto assets exchanges that withdraw crypto assets at the requests of users must notify the crypto assets exchanges on the receiving end of the withdrawal of certain information regarding the withdrawal requestors and recipients."
This rule is the one that the FATF (Financial Action Task Force) requires the regulatory authorities in each country to adopt in their international standards for combating money laundering and terrorist financing (FATF Standards).
What is the Purpose of the Travel Rule?
It is intended to prevent terrorists and other criminals from freely using the electronic funds transfer systems and to enable tracking of any unauthorized use of the systems.
